The sustainable procurement of IT devices, their on-going management and ultimate disposal are all important and topical considerations for end-users, especially as more and more businesses grapple with the challenges that digital transformation in the workplace – wherever it may be – accelerate.   The role of DaaS in this is undeniable and, consequently, Lenovo has invested significant time and resources in to refining its full offer.

We worked closely with the team there to roll out a pilot DaaS offering amongst a small number of UK resellers last year so that appropriate refinements could be made, and our focus has been on those resellers reaching small and medium-sized businesses for whom DaaS has the potential to make a significant impact on their approach to sustainable IT investment.

Through a suite of tools to enable resellers to effectively sell the benefits of DaaS to end users, and supporting training sessions, we have provided channel partners with the ability to present a fully tailored and bespoke package of devices, services and accessories to each of their potential customers.

Following the initial testing phase, the DaaS tool was rolled out across a further 13 countries across EMEA and Australia.  The EMEA roll-out was completed in two phases and includes local country catalogues and language to ensure a first-class user experience.
